How We Work

The sustainable development goals (SDGs) plead that we view development in an integrated and transformative manner.

Epistemology affirms that interdependence, interaction and reciprocation between social system, economy, culture, education, and livelihoods build an ecosystem that provides autonomy and ability to pursue healthy lives.

With a strong focus on empowerment and participation, we practice this unique approach of working on social, economic, political, environmental, and cultural determinants, to create a visible impact in health.

SCHOOL recognizes that there are different approaches, visions, models and tools available to achieve sustainable development globally, nationally and locally. These are in accordance with both, the circumstances and priorities. While, the challenges of the day call for integrated solutions; in order to address these effectively, a cross-thematic approach that brings in inputs from varied thematic areas has become essential. SCHOOL, continues to build its efforts and upholds the reality that in order to impact health, a robust and threefold vigour of education, empowerment and equality is required.
